MY LATEST RESEARCH IN PSYCHOLINGUISTICS

KINDS OF ADJECTIVES

The category of Adjectives is actually far from being well understood. In the last few years, I have investigated the relationship between different adjectives and quantification, through corpus research (Gumiel, Horno and Pérez, 2014) and by experimental tasks (Horno and Igoa, 2017). I have also investigated the acquisition of different kinds of adjectives and the interpretation of the adjectives with different copular verbs in Spanish.

AMBIGUITY

One of my last interests is the study of language ambiguity: Lexical ambiguity, Pragmatic ambiguity (Horno and Ibañez 2015), and Syntactic ambiguity (Horno and Igoa 2018)

Language and Memory
Another important field in my investigation is the way language and memory interact. The way words are stored in memory (the different meanings and sense of words) and the way they interact each other (lexical relationship such as synonymy: Horno, Timor and Sarasa 2017). Besides, I am interested in the way words can change our memory of events.
